Acropolis' famed Caryatids get "cosmetic surgery"

FILE - In this Sept. 20, 2011 file photo, with the city of Athens in the background, tourists walk in front of the Caryatid statues that prop up the porch of the 5th century B.C. Erechtheion temple on the Acropolis Hill. It takes about seven months to clean each of the larger than life-sized statues, which were carved around 420 B.C. Work began in 2011, and is expected to be finished in June 2014. (AP Photo/Petros Giannakouris, File) ATHENS, Greece (AP) — They're some of Greece's most celebrated beauties.
