Paris exhibit examines Surrealism and Communism

In this photo taken Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, a man looks at a painting entitled 'Le Prophete, 1914-1915' by Greek-born Italian artist Giorgio de Chirico, during a press day for the exhibition 'Surrealism and the object', at Pompidou Center in Paris. The exhibition at Paris' Pompidou Center tells the previously untold story of how the Surrealists managed to reconcile their fantastical dreamings and Marxist politics by channeling their artistic message through everyday objects. The exhibition runs from 30 Oct. 30, 2013 until March 3, 2014.
