African-Americans performers help rewrite Natchez's story

In this March 27, 2015 photograph, children dance around the maypole as part of the Historic Natchez Tableaux, in Natchez, Miss. Children and grandchildren of garden club members who put on the Natchez Spring Pilgrimage, a tour of historic homes that anchors tourism in the southwest Mississippi town, participate in the pageant from early ages. The show was updated with revised look at the history of Natchez. (AP Photo/Rogelio V. Solis) NATCHEZ, Miss.
