Mariachi connects schools, families in Chicago

In this Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 photo, music teacher Elizabeth Rodriguez watches over as students perform mariachi music at the Richard Edwards Elementary School, in Chicago. Chicago now joins dozens of schools districts across the country in cities like Las Vegas, San Antonio and Tucson, Ariz., that teach mariachi music in schools.
