US cable broadcaster renews 'Homeland,' 'The Affair'

"The Affair," on the other hand, has already won early praise for its portrayal of both sides of an extramarital relationship, with each episode split into parts looking from both perspectives. Showtime boss David Nevins said the current fourth season of "Homeland" has "brilliantly reinvented itself," and "continues to capture the attention of a devoted fan base.
