Modiano, 'modern-day Proust', wins Nobel Literature Prize

French writer Patrick Modiano gives a press conference in Paris, on October 9, 2014, following the announcement of his Nobel Literature Prize Stockholm (AFP) - France's Patrick Modiano won the Nobel Literature Prize on Thursday for his enigmatic novels rooted in the trauma of the Nazi occupation and his own loveless childhood.
