300 masterpieces from French museums set for Louvre Abu Dhabi

Emirati visitors walk past paintings that are part of 130 artworks featured at the first large-scale presentation of the permanent collection of Abu Dhabi's planned Louvre Museum on April 21, 2013 Abu Dhabi (AFP) - Masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh will be among 300 works displayed at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Emirate said Sunday, as it aims to become a leader in fine art.
