ABC News building in New York named for Walters

FILE - In this image released by ABC, Barbara Walters poses with Tom Cruise during an interview for her annual special, "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008," that aired on Dec. 4, 2008, on ABC. On Friday, May 16, 2014, capping a spectacular half-century run she began as the so-called "Today" Girl, Walters will exit ABC's "The View." Behind the scenes she will remain as an executive producer of the New York-based talk show she created 17 years ago, and make ABC News appearances as events warrant and stories catch her interest.
