Feared lost, original art of Wolverine debut found

This image released by Heritage Auctions shows original artwork that was used in the Marvel Comics' "The Incredible Hulk" issue #150. The artwork, which shows the first appearance of Wolverine, will be auctioned in May in a sale that will benefit the Hero Initiative, the group that strives to aid comic book creators in times of financial need. Heritage Auctions says the artwork drawn by Herb Trimpe 40 years ago was long thought lost. Wolverine has become one of comics’ enduring and best-known characters, appearing in several solo series and as a member of the X-Men and Avengers, too.
