Communists roast in hell in Montenegro fresco

This photo taken Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 shows the brightly-colored newly painted fresco in the Serbian Orthodox Church of Christ's Resurrection in Montenegro's capital Podgorica. The fresco allegedly shows late Yugoslav autocratic leader Josip Broz Tito drowning in red fiery waves of hell with Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, authors of the 1848 Communist Manifesto. They are in the company of Adam and Eve, together with some of Montenegro's current politicians and people wearing Muslim turbans. What appear to be rival church priests are being swallowed through a huge jaw of an angry gray beast with pointed devil ears. The fresco has triggered much attention and public controversy in this tiny former communist country.
