Chris Pine criticizes Russia's anti-gay law

FILE - In this Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 file photo, actor Chris Pine poses in the press room at the 71st annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, Calif. Pine says the US should have done more in the run-up to the Olympics to protest Russia’s anti-gay legislation, which he calls “clearly awful, archaic, hostile nonsense.” “I think we should do more than just send gay Olympians there,” he said in an interview while promoting his film “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit," which opens Friday, Jan. 17, 2014.
