Schiffrin, rebel of corporate publishing, dies

PARIS (AP) — Andre Schiffrin, who was expelled from the corporate publishing world after fostering the likes of Art Spiegelman, Jean-Paul Sartre, Studs Terkel and Noam Chomsky, has died in Paris.
