Early Lagerfeld designs up for auction in Florida

In this Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 photo, one of the few signed drawings that Karl Lagerfeld did, hang on the wall of the Modern Auction house in West Palm Beach, Fla. Most in-house designers are not allowed to sign their work. A 50-year-old archive of some of Karl Lagerfeld’s early fashion designs is going up for auction in Florida. In the 1960s, Lagerfeld was designing for Elizabeth Taylor and other celebrities while working for the House of Tiziani in Rome. (AP Photo/J Pat Carter) WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.
