Broadway gobbles up Thanksgiving records

FILE - This file publicity image released by The O+M Company shows Billy Porter during a performance of "Kinky Boots." The current Tony Award winning musical grossed $1,912,568 over eight performances during the week ending Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, smashing the all-time house record at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. It beat out the crown there held by the recent revival of “How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” which had one more performance.
