Correction: NPR-Staff Buyouts story

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a story Sept. 13 about buyout offers at NPR, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Vivian Schiller resigned as the organization's president and CEO after calling the tea party racist. Former NPR executive Ron Schiller made the remarks.
